Transect
A point-line-plane interface system for earth-systems research: field-station networks, ocean, soil and atmosphere monitoring portals, dataset catalogs and the public stories told from them.

Concept
Transect treats every screen as a foundation-course composition on cool speckled grey paper. A few deliberately unequal planes carry engraved line fields (cobalt stripes, black 45° hatching, concentric contour rings), one heavy ink circle dominates each hero, and lines run past their frames to meet in shared zones. Vermilion is only ever a knot: a small solid dot where two line systems cross, a focus ring, a sparse register grid, and one thick base rule per page.
